Summary of the Case: At 16:06h CEST of Wednesday the 2nd of June the Alarm Phone was alerted to a boat in distress carrying 25
travellers, all men. The boat had departed several days earlier from Dakhla. At 16:52h our shift team alerted the Spanish Search and Rescue Organization Salvamento Maritimo (SM). Six days later, on the 8th of June, SM in Las Palmas confirmed that the travellers had been
rescued during the night to the canary islands by a merchant vessel.

Border police patrols
