Summary of the Case:
At 20:43h CEST in the evening of Wednesday the 2nd of June the Alarm Phone was alerted by a relative of one of the travellers to a boat in distress carrying 37 people including 16 women, 20 men and 1 child. The boat had departed from Boujdour the 31st of May. Soon after we alerted the Spanish Search and Rescue Organization Salvamento Maritimo (SM) passing on the information we had. Two days later, on the 4th of June, we received confirmation from SM in Las Palmas that the travellers had been rescued to the Canary Islands.
