Summary of the Case: On the 8th of December, 2022, the Alarm Phone was notified by concerned relatives of a group of travellers who had departed at 1:00AM from Tan-Tan, Morocco the previous day. Relatives were worried because they had lost contact to the boat. The Alarm Phone was unable to establish contact, and relayed the information we were given to the Spanish search and rescue organization Salvamento Marítimo. The following day the relatives confirmed that they had been rescued by a fishing vessel and brought to Lanzarote, Spain.

  • Border police patrols
