Summary of the Case:

On 7 November 2022 in the morning our team was alerted by 20 people (among them a pregnant woman, a 3-months-old baby and a 3-year-old child) who had stranded in the North of Lesvos. They reported that the pregnant woman was having contractions and was in need of medical assistance. All of them were cold, hungry and thirsty and in urgent need of assistance. At 10:00 CET we alerted Greek authorities and several NGOs about their situation.
At 10:36 CET Doctors without borders (MSF) confirmed via E-Mail that they were sending a team to provide medical and humanitarian assistance to these persons.
At 11:30 CET the people told us that MSF had arrived and a midwife was with the pregnant woman.

Border police patrols
