Situation: A larger group split up into a group of 6 and a group 16 people in distress in Samos, the group of 15 was found by doctors without borders.

Summary of the Case:
On the 15th of August Alarm Phone was informed about a group of people in distress on Samos. We immediately contacted the people in distress who told us they are 16 people, some in medical distress due to falling from a mountain. At 09:30 CEST doctors without borders (MSF) confirmed they will send a team to provide medical assistance. At 12:36 CEST MSF informes us they found 16 people, according to the testimonies of the people the group scattered and 6 are still missing, as they split up the group to search for the children. We could not find out what happened to the six missing people.

  • Border police patrols
