Summary of the case: On Thursday the 1st of September 2022, the Alarm Phone shift team was contacted by a group of five travellers, including three minors, who had arrived to the small Spanish island Isla de Mar. The travellers sent us their position and told us that they had arrived already on the 30th of August in the evening. They had no more food or water left. Only minutes after we had spoken to the travellers, they told us that they were being arrested by the Moroccan navy in a pull back operation.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
