Summary of Case: In the afternoon of September 30th Alarm Phone was called by a relative who alerted us to 11 men who had departed Oran two days previously, whom they had had not information since their departure. The relative provided a contact number to the boat, but we were unable to reach the group of travellers. We forwarded the alert to authorities at 21.44 CEST. We called the boat throughout the night but were unable to reach anyone. Authorities did not provide updates to us throughout the following day. In the early afternoon of October 1st the relative who had first alerted us to the case informed us the group had arrived to land, but would not specify where to.
