Summary of the case:
On the 1st of May 2021 at 08:05h CEST, the Alarm Phone was informed about a group of 29 travelers in distress. They had started from Laayoune towards the Canary Islands at 04:00h local time in the 30th of April on a zodiac. We informed the Spanish Search and Rescue organization Salvamento Marítimo (SM) of Las Palmas via phone call and e-mail. In the evening, we learned that the travelers had been rescued by SM and had been brought to the Canaries.
