Summary of the Case:

On 6th of May 2021 shortly after midnight the Alarm Phone distress hotline was called by a community member who informed about a wooden boat which departed the day before at 8 am CEST from Temsamen. At 01:23h we wrote an email to the authorities and called the coast guards later on but they couldn’t give us any information. When we called MRCC Rabat in the evening to ask for rescue operations that day they answered that they were no operations. Later on the community member informed us that Marine Royal intercepted the travellers.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
