15 meters yacht sank, 20 people lost their lives, near Samos Isl. (Gr)

The overloaded yacht (38 people) had difficulties to sail because of the bad weather and it sank 10 miles NE from Karlovassi, Samos, Gr. The coast guard was informed for the incident from the crew of a sailing boat that was sailing in the area. A rescuing operation was announced with four coast guard boats and one helicopter. 12 people were rescued and about 20 people missing. Six people found dead, four in Greece and two in Turkey.
