Summary of the Case: On Saturday the 28th of May 2022, the Alarmphone shift team was alerted by a relative to a group of four travellers who had arrived to Samos. The travellers were hiding as they feared being pushed back by the Greek authorities. They wished to claim asylum. We managed to get the GPS position of the travellers and alerted the Greek authorities to the situation as well as the NGO Doctors Without Borders (MFS). Later, we learned that MSF had found the travellers and provided the required assistance.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
