Summary of the Case:

On the evening of 6th of September, the Alarm Phone received a call from a relative worried about the fate of twenty young people who left Morroco a week earlier in direction of Spain. The relative didn’t have any news after their departure from Targha in the night of the 29th of August. After looking into the situation we found out that the boat had been intercepted by the Moroccan Marine. Sadly three out of twenty people were still missing and had not been returned to Morocco. We contacted the MRCC but they didn’t have any news either. We hope the missing have found their way safely to land. Our thoughts are with their family and friends.

Border police patrols
