Summary of the Case:At 09:30 CET on the 13th of March Alarm Phone was contacted by a person on a boat with 101 people on board, among them 3 children and many old men. They were directly off the island of Paros, their motor not working anymore. The Hellenic Coast Guard was already with them, but was not letting them disembark and telling them not to go on deck. The person on the phone told us they can't breath. The Coast Guard vessel 070 was next to them.At 09:38 we called the Rescue Coordination Centre in Piraeus who didn't want to give us any information about the rescue operation.At 12:44 it is confirmed that all people have been transferred to Leros. 3 drivers were taken by the police to another place, the rest was taken to quarantine in a camp on Leros.
