Summary of the Case:

On the 13th of September we were called by a group of 4 women and one girl who lost their group and are stranded on the Greek island of Chios. We immediately inform the Hellenic Coast Guard, Frontex and the UHCR at 12:50. The people on the island are afraid to call the police themselves. When we lost contact to the group at 13:59 CEST and the Rescue Coordination Centre Chios didn't give us information we feared another pushback. Only on the 14th of September at 12:40 CEST the UNHCR told us that the 5 people were found and taken to an identification centre in Chios, the Rescue Coordination Centre confirmed this information. On the 28th of September the group also tells us they arrived well in Chios, they were in quarantine and are now in a camp.

Border police patrols
