Summary of the case:
On the 29th of April 2021 at 01:32h CEST, the Alarm Phone was informed about a small wooden boat carrying 26 travelers (among them 7 women and 19 men). The group had started from Boujdour, Western Sahara, towards the Canary Islands the night before. The next day, our shift team received the information that the travelers had been rescued safely to Gran Canaria.

  • Border police patrols
