At least 24 deaths and many missing near the Bosphorus strait

At least 24 people have died in the Black Sea when seeking to reach the EU, presumably Romania or Bulgaria.

The bodies of 24 passengers have been retrieved but many more are missing. The vessel was carrying up to 50 people and sank approximately at 5am on the 3rd of November.

Amongst the passengers were 12 children and 7 women. As reported by various news sources, most of the passengers were from Afghanistan. The Turkish coastguard is currently conducting a search operation.
