Summary of the Case:

On August the 13th early morning, the Alarm Phone is called by 4 people in distress at sea near Cyprus. They had left from Occupied Northern Cyprus on a fisher boat, adrift since the 12th evening after their engine broke. We directly alerted the cypriot coast guards (JRCC Larnaca), who were launching an operation. They later informed us that the boat EVAGORAS was going to rescue the people. In the evening, the people were transferred to the harbour of Paphos.

Cypriot Media reported later that 3 of the passengers were brought to Limanaki while the 4th person needed to be treated in Paphos Hospital.

Border police patrols
