Summary of the case: November 1st, 2022 the Alarm Phone received a call from a concerned relative about 48 travellers, including 35 men, 12 women, and 1 child, who had departed from Boujdour around 4:00 or 5:00 CET in the morning on October 31st. We were unable to establish contact with the boat. The shift alerted the Spanish search and rescue organization Salvamento Marítimo (SM) to relay the information that we had. The following day we learned from SM that the boat had been intercepted by the Moroccan Coast Guard near Al Manar.
