Summary of the Case:

On the 5th of December 2022, we were alerted by 5 people who landed on Lesvos in the area of Skalochori - Kalloni. They were 4 men and 1 woman. The woman was sick and could not breathe and one man could not walk anymore. They reported the need of medical attention due to health problems.

At 7:40 CET we alerted Greek authorities and several NGOs by email.

At 10:10 CET Doctors without borders (MSF) confirmed that their team had provided medical assistance to the group in need.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
