Summary of the case: On Tuesday the 30th of August 2022, the Alarm Phone shift team was alerted by a relative to a group of three men in distress in the Alboran Sea. The travellers had left from Nador in the early hours of the morning on jetski. Although we were not able to reach the travellers, we immediately alerted the Spanish search and rescue organisation Salvamento Maritimo to the distress situation. The following morning we were informed by the relative that the travellers had been rescued and brought to Spain.

  • Border police patrols
