Situation: 29 people brough to Mytilene, including one woman who gave birth during the night on an uninhabited islet north-east of Lesvos.

Summary of the Case: In the morning of the 22nd of June 2022 at 07:45, Alarm Phone was alerted to a group of 29 people who were stranded on an uninhabited islet north-east of Lesvos. In the group there was a woman who had given birth during the night and was in a semi-conscious state. Alarm Phone immediately informed the authorities, and the Hellenic Coast Guard brought the people to Mytilene port. The woman and her newborn were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Later that day, we received confirmation that the rest of the group were taken to the camp.
