Summary of Case In the morning of November 8th Alarm Phone was called by a relative alterting us to a group of four children, eight women and 22 men in distress on the Atlantic route. They had departed Dakhla in a blue wooden boat five days ago. We were unable to establish direct contact to the group of travellers in distress and alerted authorities at 08.33 CET. At 10.18 CET November 10th the search and rescue (SAR) operation by the Spanish Search and Rescue organisation Salvamento Marítimo had been unable to find the boat in distress. This was still the case at 14.35 CET November 14th. Throughout those six days we continously tried to get in touch with the missing travellers, but were unable to. The group of four children, eight women and 22 men remains missing at sea.
