Summary of Case In the evening of October 5th Alarm Phone was called by a relative who alerted us to a green polyester boat carrying a group of between 12 and 18 people in distress. According to the caller the boat had departed Temsamane the previous night. We alerted authorities at 22.50 CET. We were unable to establish direct contact to the people in distress throughout the night and morning of October 6th. At 13.00 CET the relative who had alerted us to the boat in distress informed us the group had safely arrived to Spain.

  • Border police patrols
