Summary of the Case:

On the 29th of September we were informed about a sailing boat that left Marmaris on the 18th of September. We were informed that they were running out of food and water. We couldn't establish contact to the people on the boat but at 18:00 CEST the relatives gave us GPS positions of the boat: 36.678125, 20.644490 at 13:29 CEST, 36.670753, 20.770253 at 15:09 CEST. The Hellenic Coast Guard reacted to an SOS signal from one of the people on the boat who had a Garmin (Smartwatch) with him and had sent an SOS. All the 57 people were rescued.

Until now we could not establish a contact to finally confirm with the people that they arrived safely and if they could apply for asylum.
