Summary of the Case:
On the 1st of May 2021 at 07:42h CEST, the Alarm Phone was alerted to a boat that left from Zuwarah, Libya on a wooden boat. According to the relative who informed us, there were five women and 89 men. They were in the Maltese Search and Rescue zone, close to Lampedusa. Our shift team informed the competent authorities. Later on, the relative informed us that the travelers arrived on Lampedusa.

Border police patrols
