Summary of the Case: On Monday the 29th of July at 3.05am CEST, the Alarm Phone was alerted by a contact person to a group of around 22 people, including five children, who had arrived to the Greek island Pasos. As they had arrived to a part of the coast where there were many rocks, they were unable to move. At 3.30am we managed to reach the group who told us that they were cold, but apart from that everyone was safe. We then alerted the Greek coast guard who confirmed that they would send a boat to transport the people from the beach where they were stranded. After this we were no longer able to reach the group of travellers, but the Greek coast guard later confirmed to us that all travellers were safe and had been brought to Chios.

Border police patrols
