Summary of the Case: At 12:50pm CEST on Saturday the 29th of September the Alarm Phone shift team was alerted to a boat carrying 55 people, including 18 women which had departed from close to Bouyafar between 3am and 4am local time. We finally made contact with the boat at 2:18pm, but were unable to get a GPS position. At 5:10pm we provided the Spanish search and rescue organisation Salvamento Maritimo (SM) with the information we had about the case who told us they would send a boat. At 10:10am on Sunday the 30th of September we received confirmation from the contact person that the boat had been rescued to Spain.
