Summary of the Cases: On Wednesday the 9th of January 2019, the Alarm Phone was alerted by a contact person shortly after midnight to a boat carrying 12 people which had embarked from Achakar a few hours earlier. While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
