Summary of the Case:
On 29th of August at around 8 am the Alarm Phone was alerted to a boat in distress. The GPS position was East of Kos. We informed the Greek Coastguard about it. As the travellers couldn’t confirm a rescue a while later we called the Coastguard again at 08:45am CEST. They stated they hadn’t been able to locate the boat yet. 40 minutes later the authorities confirmed the rescue of the boat, but the travellers themselves never did.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
