Summary of the Case: At 5:29am CET on Tuesday the 25th of December the Alarmphone shift team were alerted to a group of 27 travellers (including 17 women, 7 children, and 3 infants) who had arrived on a Spanish island close to Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera / Badis at around 5am. Their phone was no longer working, but the contact person informed us that everyone was okay. At 6:31am our contact person updated us telling us that the travellers needed help as it was getting cold. The shift team was unable to establish telephone contact with the people on the island.
Later that evening at 8:15pm we received an update from the contact person that the Marine Royale had returned the people to Morocco.
