Summary of the Case: On Wednesday the 28th of March, at 11.11pm, the Alarm Phone shift team was alerted by a contact person to a group of 40 travellers on their way to Samos. The contact person forwarded us their number, and a position showing that the travellers were still in Turkish waters. We were not able to establish direct contact to the travellers. At 11.49pm the contact person informed us, that the travellers had been intercepted by the Turkish coast guard. This was confirmed by the travellers themselves half an hour later.
