Summary of the Case: At 7.45pm CEST on April 6, 2019, the shift team was alerted to a boat of 24 travelers, including 10 children and 6 women, close to the island of Chios. The shift team informed the Greek Coast Guard. They also maintained contact with the travellers and the Coast Guard to inform them about changes in the position of the boat. At 9.20pm CEST it was confirmed that the travellers were rescued by a fisherboat.

Border police patrols
