Summary of the Case:
On the 10th of May, the Alarm Phone was alerted by a worried relative to a group of 26 people, including women and children, who had arrived on the island of Tilos in Greece. We sent an email to inform Greek authorities, Frontex and NGOs of the group’s situation and location, informing them that the group reported that 1 person had died and that the people needed medical attention and wanted to claim asylum in Greece.
At around 21.15 CEST, Greek police on the island confirmed that they had found the group and that one person from Egypt had passed away. The rest of the group had been transferred to the camp.

Border police patrols
