Summary of the Case:
In the evening of the 12th of February, the Alarm Phone was alerted by a worried relative to a group of 63 people, including 11 men, 10 women (among them 1 pregnant), and 34 children, who had arrived on the island of Lesvos in Greece.
At 22:02 CET we sent an Email to inform Greek authorities, Frontex and NGOs on the island of the group’s situation and location, informing them that the people needed medical attention and wanted to claim asylum in Greece.
Later we received a new position from the group, which we passed on to the relevant authorities and NGOs at 00:12 CET via Email.
At around midday the next day, we learned that the group was found by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
