Summary of the Case: On the 23rd of December, a relative informed the Alarmphone shift team about a boat that left from Oran, Algeria, heading towards Cartagena. The black plastic boat started at around 21.00 CET on the 22nd of December and carried around fourteen travellers. The shift team could not reach the boat but relayed all the information to the Spanish search and rescue organisation Salvamento Maritimo and later called them to request information about the boat. Salvamento Maritimo did not have information but later that day, the relative informed the shift team, that the travellers had arrived in Cartagena on their own.
