Summary of the Case: On Tuesday the 21st of June 2022, at 07:18, the Alarm Phone shift team was alerted to a young man who had arrived at the Island of Kos, after swimming alone from Turkey. Alarm Phone made contact with the man, who told the shift team of his injuries, with bad pain in his legs, and also explained that he had no food or water. At 08:42, Alarm Phone contacted the authorities to ask for medical assistance, but there was no response. Scared of being pushed back, the man walked to the camp himself, due to his injuries the journey was slow and he arrived close to the camp the next morning at 07:51, on the 22nd of June.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
