Summary of the Case: In the morning of the 13th of May 2022, Alarm Phone received a call from a group of 15 people in distress on Samos island along with their location and asking for help. We alerted the authorities at 08:11. Shortly after we receive news from MSF that they located 2 people from the group and had provided them with food, first aid and took them to a camp. We were unable to reach the other 13 people from the group, and unfortunately later heard that they were returned to Turkey by the police.

Border police patrols
