Summary of Case In the afternoon of September 12th Alarmphone was called by a relative who alerted us to a group of 31 men in distress North of Bouyafar who had departed Morocco in a green fiberglass boat. We were unable to establish direct contact to the people in distress and alerted authorities at 16.00 CEST. For the rest of the day we tried to make contact with the people in distress yet were unsuccessful. At 01.14 CEST September 13th the relative who alerted us to the distress informed us the 31 people had been rescued by the Spanish Search and Rescue organisation Salvamento Marítimo (SM).
