Summary of the Case:
On 12th of March at 12:20h CET we were alerted by a relative sending us a GPS position of a group of travellers stranded on Nimos island. The next hours we tried to communicate with the travellers and to collect all necessary data from them (full name, date of birth, place of birth, nationality) in order to have legal proofs that they have been in Greece. At 15:06h we called Greek Coast guard. They stated to know about the 7 travellers and have already sent a boat to rescue them. Later, we sent an email to the authorities and several human right organisations with all the data from the travellers. Unfortunately we lost contact to the group and cannot confirm that they have been really brought to Simi island.

Border police patrols
