Summary of the Case: On Monday the 20th of May 2019 at 7am CEST, the alarmphone shift team was alerted to a boat which had left from Cap Spartel. At 7.15am we made brief contact with the boat but could only hear waves in the background before the call failed. We received GPS coordinates at 8:10am. Over the next couple of hours we kept an eye on the boat. At 11:21 we learned via the contact person that the boat had been intercepted by the Moroccan Navy.
