On the 24th of July at 05:11h CEST the Alarm Phone received a call from a boat in distress from the Tangier region. They asked us to call the authorities because their boat was in distress. The Spanish Search and Rescue Agency Salvamento Maritimo (SM) was informed and told us that they will investigate the case. At 6:40h we informed the Moroccan Marine Royale about the boat, after the travelers told us to do so. They confirmed to us that they already know about the case and are searching for them. At 9:59h the travelers confirmed that they were rescued to Morocco.

Border police patrols
While the exact location of patrols is of course constantly changing, this line indicates the approximate boundary routinely patrolled by border guards’ naval assets.
