Summary of the Case: On Monday the 5th of September 2016, the WatchTheMed Alarm Phone was contacted at 8.03am by a person who informed us that he was on a boat in the Western Mediterranean Sea. We agreed for him to send us the GPS position but communication then broke down and we were unable to re-connect to him until 12.17pm. Unfortunately the travellers had been intercepted by the Moroccan authorities and been returned to Morocco.
